Dream~I Survived the Zombie Apocalypse

Yup that's right! I, Christopher, whom never been in a single fight and whose only physical power lies in his endurance survived! Pretty good also considering my endurance is at its lowest since i haven't done more physical exercise than walk to parts of the house for over a year xD  Well anyways the dream....

I see words scrolling across the screen in flashes like I"m looking at detective and medical files. The last lingering image is "C8H128N " written in ink on a clear board glowing underneath the black light. I'm not sure how I know this, perhaps I had some involvement, but I just knew that was the chemical name for what is responsible for the zombies. (I remembered the name because it is just a few digits off one of my friend's username) After than everything is black, I'm aware of my body against hard ground, wall, and underneath a some kind of fabric about as soft as a burlap sack. Memories of the night before is still far from my reach but I know right away that I had gotten drunk and passed out in the middle of this alley. I sensed movement from somewhere outside the covers and try to remain inconspicuous. Silently I pray it isn't a zombie.

The good news is that it wasn't a zombie, the bad news I could see the end of a gun slowly creeping towards my face. People in desperation do horrible things and I don't exactly look threatening. Fearing they would take advantage of my current situation I had to use the only element I had in my favor: surprise. Despite the risk of having my head blown off I quickly seized the muzzle of the gun thrusting it upwards as my body came upright. The man was old, possibly in his fifties, but the gun was very top notch military grade stuff that I could only see coming from a video game. In the upper middle section was a barrel that looked like part of a rifle, but the biggest part was the double barrels below it- obviously this fired shotgun shells.

I had the gun out of my face but he still had a grip on the trigger. He suddenly pulled us in close, while my guard weakened in surprise the rifle came down hitting my face. The muzzle almost lined up close enough for a shotgun fire blast to me. The next several seconds we wrestled for control of the rifle in a flurry of twisting arm movements. Eventually I won and kicked him back with my right leg sending him sprawling to the floor. For the first time I was noticing that there were others with him. One was just a kid probably 10 or 12, the other was a fully grown black man in his prime. His head was shaved and he wore a white or gray shirt/black hoodie combo.

I was already in a corner as it was. As hardened as I was by living in this world killing these men in front of the child wasn't on my to-do list. I hopped back a couple times making out the alley onto solid dirt where grass once grew. "Hey we don't got to do this let's negotiate." I said but both men attacked. I backed away further from the man in the hoodie but couldn't retreat further from the older man who came after. I pulled the trigger, which fired a single bullet to his left thigh. That didn't stop him so I fired another into his other thigh and he crumpled.

Fastforwarding just a little bit I convinced the old man and boy to live with me (having company in a desolate world is nice). The black guy didn't trust me in the slightest and called the other two fools before he left through the alley I had stupidly slept in the night before. Anyways I lead them to my home, it looked ready to collapse but was sturdy in the inside as the outside appearance was just to keep scavengers out.

This is where the dream gets very illogical. At different points I am a girl name Victoria or I am watching her talk. Personality wise she is mean and demanding. The old man and kid change into my friend Mike and his little brother Jared. The setting then becomes an attic, then a wooden make-shift fort with two floors that Victoria constructed. The design reminds me of the vikings but in any case she's telling us about the locals here  while I look at the construction going on. It's impressive she did this alone but we are still vulnerable in this place while it's incomplete.

Then the place converts to a two story modern house. I'm no longer at my place instead it is the home of Cindy and her Aunt living somewhere in the southern USA next to a river just a little ways from small town. My immediate family is also here, we reunited at last and they're glad to see I'm alive. But as usual my mind first goes to the safety of this home. It's weathered yet sturdy. But the defenses hardly seem ample enough to me, and there are many means of entering this building. However my dream has stopped being logical all together by this point and it's impossible to accurately describe the setting when it changes constantly. So let's just say this dream ends with me drinking alcohol and my dad pissing on everyone. xD
